Before you sign-up, please read the rules and guidelines for this fest here.

A few quick things:

1 - Prompts can be claimed once for Fic and once for Art and are first come, first served. We will indicate as soon as possible if a prompt has been claimed for either fic or art and strikethrough it if it's been claimed for both.
2 - We will email you as soon as possible to confirm you got the prompt you wanted (or your second choice if your first was already snagged, etc.) so please sign-up with an email address you check regularly.
3 - The prompts were placed in the category where they seemed to fit best but please check out all three as some could have fit into more than one section.
4 - Remember, your creation is not a gift, so if you stray a little from the prompt, want to substitute in a different character or a pairing, that's perfectly fine.
5 - Conversely, if none of the prompts strike your fancy, but you still want to participate, you may sign up to create your own idea! You may also use any unclaimed prompts from previous years.
6 - Sign-ups via proxy are allowed.

Despite his reservations (of which he expressed many, shouted too-loud over Floo-calls to Hermione), his first few days at the community went surprisingly well, leaving him hopeful for his future. Unfortunately all that hope is dashed once he meets his new neighbor: Draco Malfoy.

P6 - Prompt: At age 55, Harry has been running unopposed for the Minister of Magic for the last eight years. This election, he's running against young upstart Scorpius Malfoy. Harry wasn't worried at first, because who would want to elect a twenty-nine-year-old into office? But as the election draws close and their margins grow closer, Harry grows suspicious of the campaign practices of Scorpius Malfoy's campaign manager: his father, Draco Malfoy. AKA Scorpius runs against Harry for Minister and Magic and is winning by his own right, but of course Harry thinks Draco Malfoy is Up to Something.

Additional Info: These are just more details I've got floating in my brain that you can totally free to ignore! I'm imagining details like, "10,000 owl-in ballots left to count at 60%, Scorpius could still turn Cornwall", campaign smears, etc. I'm imagining Scorpius to have AOC vibes and dunking on Harry with memes, and then Harry trying to swoop in with his dad jokes. And of course Draco being as Slytherin as possible by pulling in as many favors as he can! Except instead of the dark magic deals that his dad used to do, he does ones like "I pulled in a favor with Goyle, he's the best hair stylist in town" which is why Scorpius has like, incredibly sexy multicolored hair, meanwhile Harry is like "I can't get my hair to dye evenly" so he has literal patches of grey where his wand couldn't reach.

P7 - Prompt: They've been best mates for decades, and the chemistry has burned between them for nearly as long. But they were both married before they realised what those feelings meant, so they never acted on them. Until now.

Additional Info: Maybe sometimes age isn't just a number? Perhaps Luna is better planned for the future than Ginny, who just lives for the moment.

P11 - Prompt: after 60, they wonder if perhaps it's time to add a younger (50+) third?

Additional Info: They used to talk about it a lot but as they get older perhaps they've had their eye on a special friend who they'd like to get closer to! Who that third person (or their gender) is up to the writer.

P12 - Prompt: a new danger is out there and maybe it's time to bring Dumbledore's army back together

Additional Info: Ginny and Neville have always stayed friends, but there's been a playful undercurrent and affection underneath their banter all these years. When the wizarding world is under attack again, they remember those times at Hogwarts and what it was like to rely on each other.

P13 - Prompt: After Harry leaves and moves to America, he's gone for 30 years. He keeps in touch with Ron and Hermione, and they often visit the USA or they meet somewhere for holiday like the Caribbean, etc... While Harry is gone, he had no idea that Ron started to develop a friendship with Draco. Now that Harry is thinking of moving back to England to teach at Hogwarts, Draco is beginning to keep his distance from Ron.

P20 - Prompt: A Beach Holiday. After retirement, Harry goes to this remote island that's been recommended by all his friends. He thinks a little r&r alone would be great. He has no idea Draco Malfoy, someone he hasn't seen in 30 years is the owner of this private island along w/ the caretaker of the whole property.

Theme/Tone: Crack! Although it would be hilarious also to interpret this as Hurt/Comfort with MCD, so -- really, any theme/tone is great in my opinion.

P27 - Prompt: Garrick Ollivander was probably the only wizard in all of London to never have tried any one of Fortescue's Forty Flavours, and he was proud of it. They'd been shop-rivals for years, after all, and rivals even before that at Hogwarts, and they would have stayed rivals maybe forever, except for when someone (maybe Harry Potter? up to you) decided to get married and asked them to plan his wedding together for him in Diagon Alley.

Marcus Flint's granddaughter watches as her grandfather is brought to trial for old crimes he may or may not have committed. Her grandmother defends him, but is she right to do so? Can their granddaughter find out the truth for herself?

P41 - Prompt: At a memorial marking the tenth anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, Minerva and Andromeda end up seated next to each other.

C4 - Prompt: As Teddy gets older, his Metamorphmagus abilities are no longer what they used to be.

C5 - Prompt: Molly's devastated after the death of her husband, but as time passes she begins to heal. She doesn't think she could ever be with another man, not after Arthur, but things have changed a lot since she was a girl, and maybe it's not too late after all to explore her long-suppressed bisexuality.

C10 - Prompt: People always assumed he/she would eventually settle down with someone, but as he/she gets older, he/she only grows more confident in the choice to stay single. And it's awesome.

Theme/Tone: Learning to feel okay about being yourself, reaching the age where you no longer care about other people's judgements.

C11 - Prompt: As she grows older, Narcissa comes to regret cutting off ties with her only surviving sister, and decides to contact her for the first time in decades.

Additional Info: Basically I see this as being about Harry's relationships from Teddy's POV, perhaps Teddy realizing his hero isn't infallible, that older adults sneak around or make ~arrangements within their marriages. Should be able to fit within the parameters of the fest.

Suggested Characters/Pairings: Personally I was thinking this might fit a same sex couple because of the 'bent' part. One of the more antagonistic/snarky pairings - like Harry with Severus or Draco - having settled into domestic bliss only to be disrupted by this insecurity.
