Before you sign-up, please read the rules and guidelines for this fest here.

A few quick things:

1 - Prompts can be claimed once for Fic and once for Art and are first come, first served. We will indicate as soon as possible if a prompt has been claimed for either fic or art and strikethrough it if it's been claimed for both.
2 - We will email you as soon as possible to confirm you got the prompt you wanted (or your second choice if your first was already snagged, etc.) so please sign-up with an email address you check regularly.
3 - The prompts were placed in the category where they seemed to fit best but please check out all three as some could have fit into more than one section.
4 - Remember, your creation is not a gift, so if you stray a little from the prompt, want to substitute in a different character or a pairing, that's perfectly fine.
5 - Conversely, if none of the prompts strike your fancy, but you still want to participate, you may sign up to create your own idea! You may also use any unclaimed prompts from previous years.

Suggested Characters/Pairings: I’m partial to Millicent being strong enough not to be a neglected third wheel but enough of a damaged character herself to know better than to try to evict Fred from their marriage.

C4. Prompt: Dudley stuck with boxing after Smeltings. He wasn’t anything amazing, but he had a moderately successful career. Now he’s 50 or 60, and the consequences of getting bashed around for years are starting to impinge on his daily life (not only the physical things like wear and tear on the body, but also the neurological, like chronic traumatic encephalopathy).

Additional Info: This could be gen, but I kind of like the idea of some sort of relationship, too. Maybe he has a wife, and they have to negotiate his decline together. C5. Prompt: Unbeknownst to the wizarding world, Snape didn’t die in DH. Instead, he lost his magic, and in the process gained a Muggle’s lifespan and age phenotype. He disappeared into Muggle London. Several decades later, a previous acquaintance bumps into a frail old man. . . .

Additional Info: Their lives have got such different directions that it’s difficult for them to understand each other’s hardships. Perhaps two of them are a couple, and one has never found a partner who would have been a true friend, too. Perhaps one is burnt-out in his/her/their career, perhaps one burdened by a mentally ill daughter or son – who’s now an adult, therefore not to be taken as a burden, as a childless character points out.

Additional Info: I would prefer this to have been a mutual split, and the characters were happy, not unrequited love or star crossed lovers. Just that the time was wrong then, and for a long time their love was platonic, but now it seems like the time is right again.
