I liked Poppy being sick of the teenage love dramas! I would be too, in her shoes.

I like the slow but also sudden switch of how Poppy sees Minerva. Now that she’s around Minerva more, as more than just colleagues, Poppy sees what she’s been missing out on. Maybe not the right phrase, but at last she sees someone worthy of spending time with. Plus, her feelings for Minerva are obviously different than the ones students have for each other, and I like that you mentioned that.
