Very sweet and understated. Love the slow realization on Poppy's part, and how independent and strong they both are.
Poppy's PoV worked well, seemed IC, and I can totally understand why she'd get irritated with the students, LOL.
Having Poppy teach is a great idea. Now I'm wondering why we don't see more of that in fic. :)
The ending had the perfect optimistic note.
