I thoroughly enjoyed this -- not only do you have Minerva's and Severus's characters down to the proverbial "T," but your clever solution to their problem is just perfect.

I love the way you hint at a whole new world here: the notion of Minerva as headmistress with Severus as deputy is excellent and makes me want to read entire books about their years running the school. You do a delightful job with their banter and give-and-take.

“Albus Severus Potter? That’s what the S stands for?” groused Severus as she sat down beside him. “Merlin on a stick.” of utter horror crossed Severus’ face. “Merlin forbid.”
