Just excellent; I loved this. You build such a full sense of the wizarding world many years on; all the character cameos feel just right to me. I laughed aloud at the scene in which Hermione inadvertently tricks Harry into spilling the beans about Malfoy. Your characterizations are stellar overall. Rose comes alive (love that she gets along with "Lav"; that little moment of name confusion is a perfect touch -- says so much about Rose and her mother both.) Wonderfully touching, but not maudlin, moment with Ron, too.

The overall tone is very effective -- kindly humorous, taking such a fun and plausible look at Hermione's flaws and showing so well her appealing self-awareness. I'm always up for a well-done Millicent, too, and I can fully believe this older version of her.

Some of the Trio generation do seem to be in rather rickety physical shape for people who (according to wizarding lifespans) aren't even middle-aged yet, but then, they all had a pretty hard time of it as teens!

Anyway, this fic is well-written and characterized and pretty damned hot. I really enjoyed it.
