This is such a beautiful story. I love the descriptions of how Charlie feels and how he's "supposed" to feel. His and Theo's way with animals rather than people. And I teared up at their lunch scene feeling a bit like Charlie--anxious facing rejection but then hopeful as well as happy. Just marvelous. Great job!
