This was wonderful. The more I read the more I fell in love with the concept and the world as it is right now. I love the peacefulness in which Minerva embraces this new moment of her life.
She enjoyed watching the gardeners work for a long time; when she looked away she realized she’d spent all that time just...sitting. Observing. Not thinking about students’ performances, class notes, the budget, the latest asinine policy change from one of the more bothersome member of the Governors. No, all she had to do now was to sit and enjoy life as it unfolded in all it unhurriedness and tender glory.
Beautiful prose.
I loved Ron and Harry helping her to move, how gentle yet natural they were with her. Peers, you know?
